Obviously, Mrs. Doyle C. Barnes is readying the champagne bottle for the Christening. I love the covering on the champagen bottle and the ribbons.  I see a look of pride, yet sadness on her face. I am sure this was a day when she was filled with mixed emotions, having lost her husband so tragically at such a young age, yet having the honor of Christening a DE that beared his name, honoring him for his ultimate sacrifice to his country.
