I love my Country and know that I enjoy
freedoms and advantages because men and women fought to make it so. I have no words
to adequately thank them. My heart is filled with love and respect for these brave
servicemen. My heart breaks for the families of those who did not return from battle
or returned with physical and mental injuries. Sadly, today many people do not know about
the sacrifices made for them, or they know and show no concern, appreciation or
respect. Some go so far as to think they have the right to burn our Flag in protest
of their disagreements. Well, maybe because of some sick twisted political laws in this
Country, they may have this right. But, not at my house!
My Flag flies every day, with pride and
honor! To those who would destroy this precious symbol, I say "March, wave
signs, pour gasoline on yourself and strike a match, but keep your hands off our Flag or
get the hell out of this Country". My friend "Doc" shares my thoughts and
