I think it's fun to know a little about the person who stakes their
claim in cyberspace! So, I will tell you a little about myself.
If you haven't guessed, I love my computer, genealogy and researching my father's military
service. I became obsessed with my "hobbies" many years ago, but
graduated to full addiction over the past few years. My family thinks I need
treatment. I suspect they are correct. If you are taking the time to read this
part of my website, you probably have an addiction, too, or else you are terribly
bored! <wink>
I do have a life away from my computer. I am married and
the mother of a 10 year old! She is a five pound Yorkshire
Terrier.
My husband loves genealogy research, also. He likes to remind me that he has over
40,000 ancestors in his database! I have 1,031. It is not my fault that my
ancestors married "Smiths", left no Wills, owned very little property, and were
never home when the Census taker came to visit! :) Oh well, I will keep
diggin!
I devote time in real life to support my Favorite
Causes.
Oh, I guess I should warn you that I am also using this page to demonstrate my
"creative" side, i.e., use all those neat graphics I found that did not
"fit" with my other pages and to play with a few of the features of
my homepage software!
